Description
Description
The Inon 90 Mega Float Arm 208 is designed for buoyancy control in larger underwater imaging setups. It offsets negative weight from housings, strobes, and video lights, supporting stable positioning during dives.
Increased buoyancy and extended reach for wider configurations
This arm provides 694 g buoyancy, offering increased lift compared to shorter variants. The effective length is 208 mm (≈8.2 in). The extended length allows wider spacing between camera and lighting. This helps improve light coverage and reduces backscatter in certain shooting conditions. The arm uses a hollow body design to increase lift while keeping overall weight low. This supports easier handling both underwater and during transport.
Detachable ball joints and optional length extension configuration
The ball joints are detachable and can be replaced with optional longer FA Ball 45 units. This increases the effective arm length and changes positioning options. Installing two FA Ball 45 units adds 40 mm (≈1.6 in) of extra length. This allows further adjustment without replacing the full arm.

Threaded ball joints for direct mounting of accessories
Each ball joint includes a 3/8-inch female thread. This allows direct attachment of strobes, video lights, or adapters in many configurations by using the YS ball adapter.

Compatibility with accessories and modular arm configurations
The system supports up to two side-mounted lens holders. This enables integration of wet lenses within the same arm setup. The arm is compatible with standard clamps and tray and arm systems used in underwater camera rigs.
When to choose the 208 mm float arm over shorter alternatives
This version is suited for heavier camera systems or setups with multiple lights. The added length improves positioning flexibility.
For more compact rigs, a shorter arm may provide easier handling and reduced bulk.
